US folks, keep a close eye on Walmart
Walmart just had a brief flash of Switch 2 stock, but it was gone as soon as it arrived. The listing page remains live, though, so this is absolutely one to bookmark in case the retailer finds a few more Switch 2 units in its warehouses.
The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 is already 20% off!

It’s a Prime Day miracle as one of my favorite Switch 2 compatible controllers has plummeted in sale price. This marks a record low discount for the 8BitDo Ultimate 2, a stellar controller that succeeds one of the all-time best Nintendo Switch controllers.
The Ultimate 2 boasts improvements such as drift-resistant TMR thumbsticks, four additional remappable buttons, eye-catching RGB ring lights and a pair of handy trigger locks.
You’ll need to hook it up to your PC, download the 8BitDo app and perform a firmware update to get it up and running for Switch 2. But if you want to save some cash and opt for a gamepad that’s comparable in quality to the Switch 2 Pro Controller, then this is the one to get.
I’ve got that Kong in me

Excited for Donkey Kong Bananza? If you fancy getting into a bit of monkey business before the Switch 2 exclusive launches later this month, you’d do well to check out Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. The recently released Switch remaster of the legendary Wii platformer is discounted at Amazon right now as part of the Prime Day sales.
Save big on one of my favorite Switch 2-compatible headsets

Great news! The RIG 600 Pro HS gaming headset has just had its price absolutely decimated in the Amazon Prime Day sales. This headset is compatible with Switch 2 via Bluetooth connection, and what a headset it is.
Not only does it sport great sound and crystal clear comms (perfect for GameChat with friends!), it’s among the comfiest headphones I’ve ever used, largely thanks to those big plush ear cups that make hours of immersive gaming possible, without them chafing the sides of your head.
At almost half price, this is one of the best discounts I’ve seen so far for the RIG 600 Pro HS, and I highly recommend checking them out!
When’s Marvel? Now’s Marvel

While we’re on the topic of great Switch game deals, I simply have to mention this unmissable half-price saving for Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics.
If you’re unfamiliar with these legendary fighting games, they essentially are all-star rosters of Marvel and Capcom characters clashing together in epic tag team battles. The collection includes iconic titles like Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes and X-Men vs. Street Fighter.
At just $24.88 at Amazon, you won’t want to miss this one.
Here’s an echo of wisdom for you… literally!

Switch 2 game deals are at the bottom of the ocean this Prime Day, which is a massive shame. That said, I would like to point out one Switch game discount that’s worth your time.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is currently the latest game in the franchise, and it’s a fantastic time on Switch. However, it’s worth picking up for Switch 2 as Nintendo has applied a patch to the game that allows it to both run and look even better on the new hardware. Definitely consider picking this one up if you were on the fence originally.
EE’s Switch 2 bundles
Speaking of EE, while the actual EE Store retailer doesn’t have Switch 2 stock at present, the mobile network provider does have a bunch of pay monthly plans for various Switch 2 bundles. Though keep in mind you’ll need an EE account in order to see and take advantage of these listings.
First up is the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle, with 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online subscription time, for £22 a month over 24 months.
You can also grab a beefier bundle that includes the above, plus an extra pair of Joy-Con 2 controllers, a Switch 2 Camera, and a £50 EE voucher redeemable on-site. This one will run you £30 a month for 24 months.
- Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World + 12 months’ Nintendo Switch Online: £22 a month at EE
- Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World + Joy-Con 2 + Switch 2 Camera + 12 months’ NSO + £50 EE Game Card: £30 a month at EE
Yes, Switch 2 stock is still going strong in the UK
I’m genuinely surprised that the UK is still awash with Switch 2 stock across several of our favorite retailers. While the likes of Currys, Amazon, Game, and John Lewis remain AWOL, plenty others are picking up the slack.
You can still reliably find Switch 2 stock at Argos, Very, My Nintendo Store UK, ShopTo and EE. All are stocking both the console by itself as well as the Mario Kart World bundle. Some, like Very, also have specialist bundles that throw in some Switch 2 accessories – albeit at a higher cost.
We’re back!
Hey again folks, this is Rhys taking over the live blog once more for roughly three hours or so. As ever, I’ll be on the lookout for Switch 2 stock updates, and good deals on its best accessories. Stay tuned!
Once more over to Rhys!
I had an early start today so I’m off and will leave you once again in the capable hands of my colleague Rhys.
Here’s hoping we get late notice of another US restock to give Prime Day a boost!
Otherwise, I’ll catch you tomorrow!
Looks bleak in the USA again…
Sadly, there’s no change in the US, and the below retailer links are only worth checking as we have all done regularly since launch…
I’m back!
I have returned! I’m only here for a bit though so will have a quick stock check across the retailers and see what’s cracking.
Back over to Rob!
It’s lunchtime for me, meaning I’ll hand things back over to Rob for now. Hope you’ve been enjoying the coverage so far, even if things could be better on the US side of things!
Solid discount for the Switch 2 Camera at Amazon UK!
While stock does look to be running out quick, the Switch 2 Camera has just gotten a surprise price drop at Amazon during Prime Day. The retailer is currently listing it at £41.99, which is a whole 8 quid off retail price. Technically, that makes this the best discount we’ve seen for the Switch 2 camera yet.
Don’t want to pay £75 for a Switch 2 Pro Controller? I’ve got you

I can’t blame you, either. The Switch 2 Pro Controller is great, but it’s undoubtedly expensive. Thankfully, I’ve got a top budget option that right now, is easily the best controller you can buy for under £20.
The GameSir Nova Lite is an absolute budget wonder, featuring drift-resistant Hall effect sticks, immersive rumble and impressive customization via the GameSir Connect PC software. And yes, it works just fine with Switch 2 when pairing it through the Change Grip Order menu on your console’s dashboard! I can’t recommend this controller enough as a budget purchase, it rules.
US stock update: it’s still not looking good
After a quick sweep for US Switch 2 stock, the situation hasn’t improved much. Massive retail outlets like Walmart, Best Buy, Target and GameStop remain fresh out of consoles and bundles, with the only notable products in stock being Switch 2 games and accessories. Naturally, we’ll be keeping a close eye on the US side of things throughout the week, so stay tuned for further developments.
A convenient way to get a Switch 2 Pro Controller with a physical game

The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is an essential Switch 2 accessory in my book. And if you’re planning to buy one, you’ll naturally want a game or two to pair it with right?
At Very, you can buy the Switch 2 Pro Controller and a physical copy of Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition for £138.99. This is the price of both products added together, so it’s not exactly a resoundingly great deal. But this version of Cyberpunk 2077 also includes its phenomenal Phantom Liberty expansion, so you’re certainly getting your money’s worth. Especially so given the Switch 2 version is a very solid port.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller + Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition: £138.99 at Very
Another top all-in-one bundle from Very
Very must be inundated with Switch 2 stock, because we’re now seeing another bundle go live at the UK retailer. This one is similar to others, featuring the console, a digital copy of Mario Kart World, 256GB microSD Express Card and Nintendo Switch 2 Camera. However, this bundle also throws in a pair of Joy-Con 2 wheel accessories and 12 months of accidental coverage. It’s in stock at Very now for £546.
- Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World, 256GB microSD Express card, Switch 2 Camera, and Joy-Con 2 wheel accessories: £546 at Very
OnBuy is yet another UK retailer with Switch 2 stock!
Stock alert! It looks like OnBuy also has stock in for Nintendo Switch 2. Both the console alone as well as the Mario Kart World bundle are listed as in stock with free delivery. It does seem like the pages are being flooded with traffic right now, so get in there while the getting’s good!
For the console by itself, delivery appears to be expected between July 14-16, while the bundle should ship between July 19-22.
Save a bit on microSD Express cards
Amazon currently has some nice small discounts on SanDisk microSD Express cards, which you’ll need for your Switch 2 if you want to boost its storage capacity for more games.
Personally, I’d go for the 256GB card, which is currently £45.49 (was £49) at Amazon. This matches the amount of storage available on Switch 2 out of the box, so you’re effectively doubling your capacity here (minus what’s reserved for the Switch 2’s operating system of course).
If you want to spend a bit less, a 128GB SanDisk card is also available for £39.98 (was £41.99). Small discounts for sure, but nonetheless nice to see and should allow you to get ahead of the curve for less, for when the Switch 2’s game library grows throughout this year and next.
The best place to shop for the Switch 2 camera is…

Perhaps unsurprisingly, it’s ShopTo in the UK. Not because it’s enjoying any kind of special discount there; in fact, the Switch 2 Camera accessory doesn’t seem to be priced-dropped anywhere even during Amazon Prime Day. But, if you can call 14p a discount, then ShopTo does technically have the camera’s lowest price listed right now.
ShopTo is also stocking the Hori Switch 2 Piranha Plant Camera, but I’d seriously only recommend this if you’re really looking to save cash. It’s £15 cheaper than the official camera, sure, but only outputs a 480p image compared to the Switch 2 Camera’s 1080p. It is officially licensed, though, and the PIranha Plant look is undoubtedly charming.
Good afternoon!
Hey folks, Rhys back again for more Switch 2 coverage for around an hour or so while Rob has a spot of lunch. UK Switch 2 stock is still looking good at several retailers, so I’m going to focus on highlighting good rates on Switch 2 accessories if you’ve managed to nab the console for yourself.
Right, I’m off for lunch!
Time for a break for me, and to pass you over to my colleague Rhys who will take over for a little while.
Back shortly!
Or for something larger…
Or, if you’re after something more headset shaped and sized for Switch 2 or other platforms, then this Prime Day deal on the superb SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5X headset is the way to go…
If you’re after something to up your audio game…
If you’ve been eyeing up some gaming earbuds to get for your new Switch 2 or for any other platform, then you need to consider the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds.
They are by far the best gaming earbuds I’ve ever tested, and are down to a mega low price right now for Prime Day!
Dog is walked!
Right, the dog has been walked and I am back. The stock situation hasn’t changed, so let’s start to spread the wings a bit…
UK folks are still swimming in Switch 2 Prime Day stock!
Right, I’m just off to walk the dog so will leave you with this post detailing the avaible UK Prime Day Switch 2 stock for convenience.
When I’m back we’ll resume our coverage of all things Switch 2 and Prime gaming deals!
Don’t forget this for this week, by the way…
While it won’t automatically help you snag a Switch 2 console, with so many price cuts going across gaming gear at the mega retailer, it’ll probably be worth signing up for a Prime membership if you see one or a few things you’re keen on…
Remember you can sometimes utilize a free trial too!
Argos wobbling?
It appears that Argos may be wobbling with its Mario Kart World bundle…
I’ve seen it flash in and out of availability, but remember this is likely affected by Argos’ way of distributing stock geographically so your mileage may vary depending on your location.
I can still add one to my basket and proceed for now though…
Switch 2 Prime Day stock – US update
After the excitement of Walmart’s restock last night, the inevitable happened and it sold out leaving us with no Switch 2 stock in the US to speak of right now.
Here’s hoping other retailers on that side of the Atlantic come good with it, and embrace the summer sales week madness!
First update: UK Prime Day Switch 2 stock is here!

However, I’m excited to share some excellent UK-based Prime Day Switch 2 stock news as a first update this morning!
Right now, I’m seeing the standalone console and the Mario Kart World bundle available at Amazon – but it doesn’t stop there.
We’ve also got a host of bundles at Very, some Mario Kart World bundle stock at Argos, and pre-order or backorder stock at the likes of ShopTo and ebuyer.
Good morning and welcome to Prime Day!
Amazon Prime Day is here and we are now rolling in gaming deals across all platforms and price ranges. We will be posting some of the very best deals in here among our Switch 2 stock coverage to give you plenty of options no matter what you’re looking for.
After another stock sweep, it doesn’t look like Walmart is getting any more new stock tonight.
And with that, I’m signing off for the night. Hopefully we’ll see some movement tomorrow as Prime Day kicks off properly. Goodnight, folks!
Now sold out

Well, it lasted a lot longer than I thought it would, but the Nintendo Switch 2 restock at Walmart is finally sold out. It’s possible there’s a few more units kicking around over the next few days, but we’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled.
I hope you landed a console if you were after one today, and if not, there will always be next time.
Still going strong
Wow, I’m surprised the restock has lasted this long. The “50% of this deal is gone” status has even disappeared on my end. Perhaps Walmart had some extra units hiding away in the back?
There’s still time to get your hands on a Nintendo Switch 2 bundle if you haven’t already, though there has been no movement on the standalone console listing.
Halfway gone

Have you already put your order in for the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle? Walmart is showing 50% of the stock is already out the door, so don’t wait around.
Beware of scalpers!

It looks like only the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle is available direct from Walmart at this time.
Be careful of scalper listings for the standalone console; these are posted for a few hundred dollars more than the bundle right now! Don’t feed them.
And they’re off! Time to get in line

Walmart+ deals are officially live and the promised Nintendo Switch 2 restocks are here. I doubt they’ll stick around long, so if you’ve been meaning to get your hands on a console, now’s your chance!

Walmart is definitely gearing up to drop some Switch 2 stock – the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle now has an “Early Access” tag for Walmart+ members.
Get ready!
One hour to go!

There’s one hour to go until Walmart gets new Nintendo Switch 2 units in! If it’s similar to the last Walmart restock, you’ll be able to reserve a spot in line if you’re a Walmart+ member once the countdown reaches zero.
Walmart restock tonight confirmed
Hey folks, Marcus Mears III here with some great news for US Switch prospectors: Walmart has confirmed a restock for Switch 2 consoles at 7pm ET. I’ll be around to cover the stock situation as it unfolds.
This restock comes amidst the wave of potential early Amazon Prime Day deals, so we’ll also keep an eye on any games and accessories that may go on sale and pair perfectly with your new console. Stay tuned!
Still not looking great in the US
I wouldn’t expect any Switch 2 stock in the US today. However, with Amazon Prime Day happening tomorrow and for the rest of the week, there’s every chance the retailers listed below will make the most of the opportunity and begin stacking their Switch 2 shelves.
Highlighting a pretty sweet Switch 2 bundle at Very in the UK
I know, I don’t like paying over the odds for a new console as much as anyone does, but at least this bundle at Very does offer some pretty excellent accessories for the price.
The bundle includes the Switch 2 console, Mario Kart World (digital copy), a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, 256GB SanDisk microSD Express card, and 12 months of accidental damage cover added for free. For £553, that’s not at all a bad deal. The bundle’s in a pre-order phase right now, and expected to deliver on July 18.
- Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World and accessories: £553 at Very
Joy-Con 2 for £5 less?

Bizarrely, Smyths Toys also has the best rate on Joy-Con 2 controllers right now. If you need a spare pair for multiplayer or a back-up in case replacement is needed, then this is the retailer I’d check out. Right now, a pair of Joy-Con 2 controllers are £69.99 – a fiver off retail price.
An update from Smyths Toys in the UK
Popular tech and toys retailer Smyths Toys currently doesn’t have Switch 2 stock in the UK, but there’s a silver lining here. The store pages for the Switch 2 and its Mario Kart World bundle both state that stock is expected ‘July 2025’. No specific date is given, but its Switch 2 store pages are worth bookmarking and keeping an eye on for when stock eventually comes through. Hopefully sooner rather than later!
Hey again gamers! I’ll be back with you for the next hour and a half keeping an eye on Switch 2 stock. If I spot anything noteworthy on the console or its accessories, I’ll be sure to keep you in the know.
My shift is over!
OK, I am out for the day and handing back over to Rhys – I will be back on tomorrow so catch you then!
Amazon UK still has stock!

Trying to keep my optimistic hat on for Prime Day Switch 2 stock on a larger scale, I’ve just checked again and Amazon UK still has stock of the standalone console right now.
I really, really hope that this means the retailer has something going on behind the scenes of a global, or at least ‘both sides of the Atlantic’, scale…
The US continues to be dry…
Sadly, it’s not a bright picture in the US still. The below links are all still good to check but it remains that in-store options, particularly GameStop and Target, look like your best bets so far.
I’m back!
Rhys has gone on lunch and I have returned!
Let’s get into the US situation now…
Argos swoops in with more Switch 2 stock!
First ShopTo, then eBuyer and My Nintendo Store. Now Argos has thrown its hat into the ring when it comes to Switch 2 stock. The popular retailer currently has stock in for the Mario Kart World bundle, at the retail price of £429.99.
It’s worth noting that delivery only seems to be available on a per-region basis, and stock is not guaranteed depending on where in the UK you’re based. However, you can enter your postcode on the store page to confirm whether or not you’re able to buy a Switch 2 at Argos right now.
Switch 2 stock in at My Nintendo Store!
Even more super news for Switch 2 hunters in the UK today. It looks like you can get the console straight from the source as My Nintendo Store has both the console and the Mario Kart World bundle in stock!
The one caveat is that you’ll need to be logged into a Nintendo account on the website (you can just login using the account you use on Switch) in order to add the product to your cart. Once you’ve done that, though, both are available at retail price.
Switch 2 consoles up for pre-order at eBuyer
UK outlet eBuyer doesn’t have Switch 2 stock in just yet, but it is expecting stock soon. Right now, this is the case for the Switch 2 console on its own (nothing on the Mario Kart World bundle just yet, sadly).
You can pre-order the console at eBuyer for £395.98. The retailer is expecting stock to arrive on July 30. It’ll be a few weeks of waiting, then, but eBuyer is promising free next day delivery (depending on your region) as soon as stock arrives.
Stock alert! Switch 2 + Mario Kart World available at ShopTo!
I’ve got some great news if you’re shopping around for a Switch 2 in the UK today. Online retailer ShopTo currently has stock in for the console bundle that features a digital copy of Mario Kart World.
It does look like stock is selling through extremely quickly, though, so have your finger on the trigger here. Right now, there’s well over 1,200 people browsing the stock page!
Hey folks! This is Rhys stepping in for Rob for the time being. I’ll be taking a look at the Switch 2 stock situation in the UK over the next hour, and will report back if I come across anything noteworthy.

Right I just need to step away to walk the dog and get a bite to eat!
My colleague Rhys will continue our look at the UK Switch 2 restock situation for the time being until I return.
Catch you in a bit!
In superb news elsewhere in the UK, you’ve also got a plethora of options at retailer Very to get stuck into and order!
You can find them all detailed below, but the retailer has embraced the bundle approach, for sure.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle + Switch 2 Pro controller + Switch 2 Camera: £555 at Very
- Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle + Switch 2 Pro controller + SanDisk 256GB microSD Express card: £553 at Very
- Nintendo Switch 2 + The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Edition + Donkey Kong Bananza: £525 at Very
- Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle + The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Edition: £494 at Very
- Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle + Donkey Kong Bananza: £496 at Very
- Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle + Samsung 256GB microSD Express card: £479 at Very
- Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle + Street Fighter 6: £479 at Very
- Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle: £429.99 at Very
Aaaaand the bundle’s gone…
Just after I published that last post, I refreshed the Amazon listing page for the bundle and saw the price jump up to an evil, inflated, re-seller price!
Don’t go for that as it’ll just feed the scalping machine which benefits nobody.
As a result, if you want to shop at Amazon UK for a Switch 2 then just go for the standalone console.
UK has stock!
In brief, the great news is that the UK has stock right now!
Leading the way is an excellent early sign of Prime Day stock with Amazon UK offering stock of both the console and Mario Kart World bundle. Use the links below to get straight to those listings!
Hello and welcome!
Welcome to our Prime Day-tastic Switch 2 restock live coverage!
The team here at TechRadar and I will be renewing our hope and efforts to find you stock of Nintendo’s latest console but also present some of the best gaming deals going right now as a bonus.
We’re hopeful of seeing Switch 2 stock drops this week but can’t guarantee it sadly – but we do start off with some positive news in the UK!
