While the SE 3 deal below is the cheapest and most popular Apple Watch deal, it’s not strictly speaking the best. That honor goes to this deal on the Apple Watch Ultra 2, the super-rugged fitness watch that’s just been replaced by the Ultra 3, now at a very impressive $200 discount.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 held its place as our best smartwatch overall for over a year, and was only just dethroned by the Apple Watch Ultra 3. A $200 discount here is stellar.

On the other hand, you might be considering a big, beefy Garmin watch to take on your adventures, with a battery life measured in weeks, rather than a cheaper Android or Apple Watch with a battery life measured in hours.

The undisputed king of the Garmin watches right now is the Garmin Fenix 8, which has an impressive $250 discount on Best Buy. Alternatively, you might opt for a previous-gen Fenix 7, which is almost half price at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

The other big smartwatch that’s being clicked on the most this year is the Apple Watch SE 3. It’s the best-value smartwatch in Apple’s current-gen lineup, even more so with a $50 (or 20%) discount at Amazon.

Samsung strikes again

Ready for another ludicrous Samsung phone deal? The Korean tech giant has wiped $400 off the price of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, bringing the price of its premium flagship phone to $899. That’s a touch more than the standard iPhone 17, which the Galaxy S25 Ultra towers over, and the same as the OnePlus 13, which the Galaxy S25 goes toe-to-toe with.

A great cheap phone, even cheaper

Sometimes Black Friday brings surprising deals that make a great cheap product even cheaper. That’s exactly the case with this Google Pixel 9a deal, wherein Google’s value flagship alternative has been cut from an already reasonable price of $499 to a record-low $349.

The best Black Friday phone deal I’ve seen this year has to be Samsung’s ridiculous $720 discount on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 with 512GB of storage, which makes the best folding phone much more accessible (albeit still pretty pricey – stay tuned for some cheaper deals).

I’ve been waiting for my Peak Design Backpack to fail, but this Holiday sale is the next best excuse to buy one

I have been waiting for my Peak Design Everyday backpack to break, but since it isn’t cooperating, this fantastic Black Friday sale at Peak Design has my attention instead. My 30L backpack is a version 1 model from the days when Peak Design was selling on Kickstarter. It’s lasted more than 7 years without any problems at all, aside from the scuffs and scratches we’ve earned together. This deal on a new backpack in the cool Coyote color drops the price by almost 30%, which is just too good to miss for a bag that will last a decade – even if you rough it up.

The Dell 14 Plus is one of our favorite mid-range Windows laptops thanks to its excellent design and competitive specs, and right now, it’s going cheap for Black Friday. Will there be a better time to buy the new MacBook Pro?

Best Buy has just dropped a new set of doorbuster deals for Black Friday and they include a record-low price for the brand-new MacBook Air (M5). We awarded this high-end device four stars in our review, praising the power, design and build quality. Although we also noted that most of the improvements are focused on AI performance, so if you’re coming from an M3 or M4 MacBook Pro, then the upgrade isn’t hugely necessary.
